Why We Have Waiver Rules
The draft never goes exactly as planned. Players get hurt. Breakouts happen. Somebody you ignored in August suddenly looks like a genius pickup in September.
Waivers give every owner a fair shot at the players nobody saw coming. Free agency keeps the league moving after claims are processed.
These rules are simple: pay attention, place your claims, and live with the decisions.
204.1 Rolling Waivers
Castle Peak Crusaders uses a rolling waiver priority.
When an owner successfully claims a player, that owner moves to the bottom of the waiver order. Owners who do not win a claim keep their position.

204.2 Weekly Processing
Waiver claims process every Wednesday morning during the season.
Claims must be submitted through the league platform before the processing window closes.

204.3 Free Agency
After weekly waivers process, unclaimed players become free agents and may be added on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free agency remains open until the platform locks players for their games or the weekly waiver cycle begins again.

204.4 Keeper Value of Free Agents
Any player acquired through waivers or free agency receives a 7th-round keeper value for the following season, regardless of whether that player was originally drafted.
A released player immediately loses any previous keeper designation and becomes a standard 7th-round free agent after being claimed or added.

204.5 Injured Reserve
Each franchise has one injured reserve slot, subject to the eligibility rules enforced by the league platform.
The IR slot is not an extra bench position. If the platform says a player is no longer eligible, the roster must be corrected before another transaction can be completed.

204.6 Mistaken Drops
If an owner drops a player by mistake, the owner must contact a Commissioner immediately.
The Commissioners may correct an obvious mistake when doing so does not affect another owner. Once another owner has reasonably relied on the transaction, the mistake may be too late to undo.

204.7 Postseason Activity
Teams are not frozen simply because they miss the championship bracket or are eliminated from it.
Owners may continue managing their rosters through the postseason, including teams playing for 7th and 8th place, as long as their transactions are made in good faith and remain relevant to league competition.

204.8 Offseason Transactions
Player pickups are closed during the offseason.
Offseason roster movement is limited to trades and Commissioner-approved administrative corrections until the annual player pool reopens.
